The piCAN-Logger is used to record and read out CAN / CANopen data. The recorded data can either be visualized in real time or buffered for later evaluation onto integrated μSD card.
The CANopen messages are received, stored and filtered according to the configuration. With an associated PC software, customer-specific data processing is possible.
A robust aluminum housing enables the use of the datalogger in harsh environments and offers numerous mounting options.
The flexibly designed firmware and the high performance of the microcontroller make it possible to integrate the device into EnergyBus systems.
You want to use the piCAN-Logger for own software projects? The "libpicanlogger" library can be used to create applications for your specific application.
On request, "pican-bridge" under Linux offers the option of using the piCAN logger via the socketcan interface.

Mit dem Datenlogger piCAN-Logger kann sich der Anwender direkt mit einen CAN, CANopen oder EnergyBus-Netzwerk verbinden. Dabei kann das Gerät als Gateway oder Zwischenspeicher mit Analysefunktion konfiguriert werden. Die CAN-Botschaften werden mit Zeitstempel auf einer SD-Karte gespeichert. In der embedded Software des Datenloggers können verschiedenste Filterfunktionen aktiviert werden.

Mit einem PC-Tool für Windows oder Linux werden die Daten direkt von der SD-Karte oder über USB ausgelesen. Die Daten werden gefiltert, geparst und visualisiert. Die Übergabe zu externe Analysesoftware erfolgt über ein flexible XML-Datenformat.
